Two Charged After Fight Breaks Out At Golf Club

Two Bridgeport men are facing charges after a fight broke out at a golf club in Milford, police say.

Milford Police responded to Great River Golf Club, located at 130 Coram Lane, after hearing a report of a fight Saturday, Jan. 26 around 11:30 p.m.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that 27-year-old Audi Porchea of Garfield Avenue and 25-year-old Shaquille Henry of Pixlee Place were engaged in a physical altercation during a private event, Milford Police said. A witness stated that she attempted to break up the altercation and was hit in the face by Porchea.

Both men were arrested and face the following charges:

Second-degree breach of peace
Interfering with arrest
Third-degree assault (Porchea only)

Both men are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, Feb. 19.
